A record number of tickets were sold for concerts at an open-air theatre in North Yorkshire this year.
Box office records were smashed at Scarborough Open Air Theatre's (OAT) series of summer concerts.
With more than 114,000 tickets sold, the Scarborough venue saw a £6m to £8m increase to the local economy.
Julian Murray, Cuffe and Taylor’s Scarborough OAT music programmer, described this as a "welcome boost" to the economy.
He added: “What an incredible summer here at this special venue. We have welcomed more acts and more music fans than ever before and the shows will live long in the memory.
“This summer’s concert series has undoubtedly provided a welcome boost to the local economy with many gig goers coming here from across the UK and beyond."
More music fans than ever before flocked to Scarborough to watch the likes of Jess Glynne, Fatboy Slim, James and Becky Hill perform on-stage.

Fans travveled to the venue from across the country - for example, 80 per cent of the audience at Korn’s show in August had travelled from outside the YO postcode area.
Improvements to the venue were made ahead of this summer’s success. Councillor Simon Myers, North Yorkshire Council’s executive member for culture and leisure, described the widening of the footpaths and improvements to the backstage area as only some of the measures taken in preparation for the crowds.
But there’s little rest for the wicked, as the organisers are already planning for next year and said they would be excited to announce the 2025 headliners “very soon”.
