Two drivers have been punished following a five-vehicle crash in Middlesbrough that say a house damaged yesterday evening.
Emergency services were called to Parliament Road, at its junction with Union Street and Longford Street, after a collision on Friday evening.
A cordon was erected across the street while a flurry of police, ambulance, and fire crews dealt with the incident, taking two people to hospital, and assessing a nearby home for damage.
One driver, a 25-year-old man, had been summoned to court for driving without a license and driving without insurance.
The other driver, a 67-year-old man, was issued with a Traffic Offence Report for driving without due care and attention.
Pictures from the scene show two damaged vehicles as well as the front of a property, which the police confirmed was damaged in the incident.
Other images also show the damaged cars being recovered, while a large group of people watch from behind the blue and white police tape.
A spokesperson from Cleveland Police said: "Police attended a report of a collision on Parliament Road, Middlesbrough, just after 7pm on Friday, August 30.
"A BMW 5 series and Nissan Note were involved in the collision.
"A number of other parked vehicles were also damaged as a result of the collision and a property was assessed for damage which was deemed to be superficial.
