A County Durham beach has been dubbed a "gorgeous place with stunning views" by visitors.
Seaham Beach has had numerous reviews on Tripadvisor over recent years, with the majority of these being complimentary of the cleanliness and views.
Currently, the stretch of coastline has an average rating of four and a half stars out of five on Tripadvisor; one of the best in the region and ranked one of the best in the whole of the North East.
Alongside the views and the beach itself, it seems like visitors enjoyed Seaham Beach for another reason - the sea glass.
Families and couples alike seemed to pick up sea glass and take it home when they visited the stretch of beach in Seaham.
One person who visited in July this year praised the beach for its "stunning views" and cleanliness.
Writing on TripAdvisor, they said: "We loved searching the Seaham beach for sea glass and did not want to leave. Wish we could have spent more time here! Gorgeous clean beach with stunning views."

Meanwhile, another visitor wrote: "We love Seaham. We come by train & it’s a lovely little walk to the beaches. My son loves to look for sea glass etc. We did have a lovely walk to Blast Beach where part of ‘Get Carter’ and ‘alien3’ were filmed but he didn’t find any treasure so beach glass remains his favourite. Although I did get some lovely photos of the orangey/red water there."
While Seaham Beach, which is the number ten attraction in County Durham on TripAdvisor, was hailed as a great place by many, some reviews mentioned that steep steps and slopes to the beach made it difficult for them to access.
But on the whole, the beach has been counted as one of the best in County Durham and the wider North East.
