A County Durham Oasis fan has spoken of her 'electric' memories of seeing the group perform in the North East as she prepares to fight for tickets to see the Gallagher brothers' highly anticipated comeback tour.

Victoria Watson, 44, from County Durham has followed the 1990s Britpop legends since her teenage years and is already planning how she might secure tickets for the 2025 reunion shows.

Victoria, who is a publicist, first saw the Mancunian band on stage in Middlesbrough.

"I’ve seen Oasis three times," she told travel booking site, Omio.

"First at the Definitely Maybe Tour at Middlesbrough Town Hall in 1994, followed by the 1995 Earls Court gig in London and, finally, the 1996 Knebworth show.

"I’ll never forget the amazing atmosphere at these gigs though; it was electric!"

She also remembers how much the tickets cost back then, compared to how much they might cost this time around.

"The Knebworth show was only about £22, so the previous shows would have been even less!"

When the band announced their split 15 years ago, Victoria was "sad and annoyed."

"I honestly feel like Liam and Noel's solo careers haven’t really taken off," she said.

"They have finally realised they are better together both musically and financially.

"The reunion tour is going to be a wild atmosphere.

"There will be so much anticipation and love behind this tour from the fans - it will be a once in a lifetime experience and I will be definitely trying for tickets for both the London and Manchester dates."

She also had some advice for others hoping to secure tickets for the shows, saying:

"People will need to be clever and work with their friends to secure the tickets when they go on sale to ensure they get hold of one!"
