Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) have been pictured at the scene of a suspected arson at a house in Burnhope, County Durham, which has seen the road and property cordoned off.
Emergency services were called to a property on Front Street (Holmside Lane) on Tuesday (August 27) evening at around 9.30pm, following reports of a fire.
At this time, the road remains closed, while police have also cordoned off a property on Front Street, with CSI teams investigating the scene.
Durham Police say they are treating the incident as arson, and have confirmed that investigations are continuing.

Images of the scene show CSI teams and police officers at the scene, while a HGV can be seen parked on the driveway of the property and debris can be seen on the footpath just outside the house.
Police say that no one is believed to have been injured in the incident.
A spokesperson for Durham Police said: "Detectives are now appealing for information and anyone with dashcam footage covering the area at the time of the incident.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact West Durham CID on 101 quoting incident number 410 of August 27.
"The road remains closed in both directions."
