A North East manufacturer has played a key role in the successful fit-out of 11 Nissan showrooms - in the Middle East.

Marking a significant milestone for the business, Durham-based Artech Lighting has delivered more than 2,000 luminaires to the £450,000 project.

Nissan, one of the world’s foremost automotive manufacturers, required a single reliable supplier capable of providing a comprehensive lighting solution and Artech Lighting was selected as preferred supplier for the projects, spanning multiple locations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Collaborating with regional partner, Acoulite, and Middle Eastern contractors, Mesmar, Tal Al Tamara and Meet Mile, Artech Lighting designed, manufactured and delivered a range of high efficiency lights for use across sites with showrooms and workshops including products from its Tenus, Nitor, Astra and Softline ranges.

The collaboration with Acoulite ensured the car maker’s needs were met alongside after-sales support across the region.

Artech’s involvement in the developments underscores the success of the North East’s largest inward investment to date, which has significantly boosted manufacturing capabilities in the region.
