A popular Darlington restaurant known for its “exquisite” food offerings has been put on the market after over 20 years in town.
Oven Restaurant, on Duke Street, is up for grabs with a price tag of £89,950 after its owners, who have run the site for two decades, “reluctantly” put it up for sale.
The venue, which has over 80 covers across two floors, is known for its blend of British, French, and European food and is highly regarded for its “delicious” Sunday dinners.
With a four out of five rating on TripAdvisor, customers have praised the “beautiful” food and “extremely helpful and friendly staff” over the years.
One person said: “We found this place and what a little gem it is! Fantastic food, amazing prices, friendly staff, we had a superb evening!”
Another added: "I would recommend everything about Oven Restaurant, Darlington, to the staff, to the welcome you receive when you walk in, to the attentiveness of the staff throughout your meal.
"But I definitely would recommend the food - it is absolutely gorgeous. If I could rate this restaurant more then five stars, I would!"
Marketed by Parker Barras, the long-established restaurant is fully licensed, with sales being at £350,00 per year and the lease being held at a rental of £26,000 per year.
