Police have reopened a stretch of road following an incident that saw a cordon erected and a large 999 response on the scene.
The incident on Stockton’s Yarm Lane happened at about 9pm on Tuesday (August 27), saw several police and emergency vehicles attend.
A cordon was in place and the fire service could also be spotted at the scene.
Police said they had closed the road in both directions for the ‘ongoing incident.'
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said at the time: “Yarm Lane in Stockton is closed in both directions due to an ongoing incident.
“The road is closed between the Yarm Road junction and the Premier store.
“Drivers are being urged to avoid the area whilst the incident is dealt with.”
The police force later confirmed that this stretch of road had reopened.
