Police have boarded up a second home in the same street following reports of anti-social behaviour and drug activity.
The property on Monkland Close was granted closure at Teesside Magistrates Court on Thursday, August 22.
It comes after officers attended the court with evidence relating to anti-social behaviour and drug dealing within the house.
As a result, the property was boarded up and the tenants evicted following complaints from residents within the local community.
This is the second house in Monkland Close to face closure, with the first being authorised on Friday August 2.
It forms part of officers' ongoing targeted action to tackle drug dealing and disorder in the area.
Sergeant Danielle Gibson, from Middlesbrough’s Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “I am grateful these closure orders have been granted and I hope they will bring reassurance to residents in the area, as well as the wider community, that we are committed to doing all we can to tackle this kind of behaviour.
“To help us to continue to take this positive action I would urge anyone experiencing any issues with these types of offences to get in touch with officers as soon as possible.”
Councillor Janet Thompson, Middlesbrough Council’s Executive member for Community Safety, said: “There is no place in our communities for drug dealing and antisocial behaviour and we will use all the means at our disposal to stamp them out on behalf of law-abiding residents.

“This house closure is a great example of that approach, and we will continue to work hand in hand with Cleveland Police and other partners to drive these people out of decent neighbourhoods blighted by their blatant criminality.”
If you believe drug activity or anti-social behaviour is taking place in your community, please report it to Cleveland Police on 101 or you can provide information anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
