Missing all the Geordie Shore drama? It appears fans won’t have too long to wait for the next season as one of the North East stars has let slip a “return date”.
It comes as Marnie Simpson, who first joined the series in 2013 told fans Geordie Shore could possibly return to our TV screens early next year, according to The Sun.
In a Q&A with her followers on Instagram, the 32-year-old was asked: “When will the next series of Geordie Shore will be out?"
Marnie replied: “I think it will be January.”
The Sun previously revealed the new series reportedly shot in Thailand will launch on Paramount + UK and MTV UK.
Scotty T (Scott Timlin) is rumoured to return after leaving the show six years ago.
Other cast members reportedly joining the 2025 series filmed in Thailand include Abbie Holborn, Chantelle Connolly, Chloe Ferry, Holly Hagan, James Tindale, Jay Gardner, Nathan Henry, Sophie Kasaei and Ricci Guarnaccio.
A source told The Sun: "The Geordie cast are jetting off to Thailand in the coming days to film the show's biggest overseas cast trip ever.
"They're blowing the budget on this big Asian jaunt to kick off the new series, and it's going to look gorgeous on camera as well as creating the perfect sunshine backdrop for lots of drama.
"Bosses really wanted to kick off the new series with a bang as there have been several big high profile departures with Marnie, Casey, Aaron, and of course, Charlotte leaving, but the show is still a massive priority for MTV - especially globally where it's huge on paramount plus - so they are still investing big money into it."
