A North East nursery has been rated outstanding by OFSTED inspectors who described it as "life changing" for children.
Rosedene Easterside Nursery in Middlesbrough was awarded the top grade after an inspection in July found a staff met high standards including quality of education, behaviour and more.
Inspectors noted, “Staff have created a wonderful learning environment both inside and in the large outdoor space. Resources and activities are carefully planned to promote children's curiosity.”
They also commented that “Children’s behaviour is excellent, and the atmosphere within the nursery is calm and purposeful. Staff treat children with genuine kindness and respect”.
Feedback from parents was also said to be extremely positive, with one describing the institution as "life changing".

Nursery bosses have now expressed their delight at the news as they hope their latest positive inspection will take them from strength to strength.
Alice McCullagh, managing director of Rosedene Nurseries, said: “We are incredibly proud of the outstanding rating from Ofsted. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff who strive every day to provide the best possible care and education for the children.
“We are committed to continuing to build on this success and to offering a nurturing and inspiring environment for our children at all Rosedene Nurseries across Teesside and North Yorkshire.”
