Police have appealed for witnesses after a woman was allegedly assaulted while walking her dogs in a Stockton park.
Cleveland Police said a man being questioned after the incident in the town's Newham Grange Park at about 6.50pm on Wednesday (August 21).
A spokesperson for the force said: "A man is being questioned after police received a report that a woman was assaulted while she was out alone, walking her dogs in a Stockton park.
"The alleged incident occurred in Newham Grange Park (known locally as Monkey Tree Park) at around 6.50pm on Wednesday.
"The woman is not believed to have sustained serious injuries and left the area following the incident.

"A 28-year-old man was identified by officers last night (Thursday) and he was arrested a short while later, on suspicion of assault.
"He remains in police custody while enquiries continue."
