For those who love to start their meals with a burst of flavour, the starters won’t disappoint either.

Diners will be able to select the warming spices of their Peppersoups, the sweet delights of Puff Puff, or the comforting taste of Dumplings.

And to top off your dining experience, our bar will serve up an array of expertly crafted cocktails, refreshing mocktails, and more.

The inspiration behind Rootz & Kolture comes from Babatope Lewis, a passionate chef and entrepreneur.(Image: Contributor)

After running a successful takeaway café (Olumo Cafe) that was predominantly on ordering platforms like Just Eat for nearly five years at his Olumo Continental Foods store on 1 Woodland Road, Babatope decided it was time to offer Darlington residents a full restaurant experience where they could savour the very best of Nigerian cuisine.

He said: "The last 18 months have been particularly challenging for me and my family.

"But with the support of my dedicated team, we've weathered the storm and learned from every experience. Now, we’re ready to share the richness of our culture and the flavours of our roots with the wonderful people of Darlington."
