Police are looking for this man in connection with a robbery in Middlesbrough.

A 46-year-old woman was in Middlebeck social club on Homerton Road when a man approached her and she was pinned to the ground.

He then let go to steal her handbag before fleeing the area.

The robbery occurred at 8.35am on Tuesday, August 13.

Officers also want to speak to the man in relation to numerous car windows that were damaged with items then stolen from inside two vehicles.

The damage occurred at around 5am on Tuesday 13 August.

Enquiries have been ongoing to identify the man responsible and officers are keen to identify the man in the image who may be able to assist with their investigation.

PC Pierce Ditchburn, of Middlesbrough CID, said: "Understandably the woman was left shocked by what happened, and we are doing all we can to identify the man responsible.
