The North East is bracing for strong winds and heavy rain as The Met Office issues a yellow weather warning.
Gusts of up to 60mph are set to hit parts of Durham and Tyne and Wear throughout Tuesday (July 16), likely leading to some disruption to transport.
It follows a changeable August across the North East, which has seen hot weather, rain, winds, and thunderstorms.
The warning - which has been issued from 8am until 8pm on Tuesday - covers parts of Tyneside and Northumberland, but people are urged to take care in other areas of the North East.

Darlington tip will be shut today (Thursday 22 August) due to the high winds.
A spokesperson for the council said: "We will continue to monitor the situation throughout the day and will provide an update if/when the wind speed reduces. Apologies for any inconvenience."
The bank holiday weekend is forecast to get off to an unsettled start as rain slowly clears, but should then be calm and dry in most areas.
