A brand new Irish themed bar has opened along the County Durham seafront - here's a glimpse of what it looks like inside.

Grace Kelly's on North Road in Seaham has finally opened its doors for the first time today (August 22) promising punters creamy Guinness, tasty grub and a whole host of Irish charm.

The seaside bar also offers food and is set to host live music, quiz nights and show live sport promising "coastal views" and hearty Irish breakfasts from next month.

Fabian Pritchard, Director at One Management Services, shared his excitement about the bar - which is now the second of its name.

He said: “We are thrilled to be launching our second Grace Kelly’s site within just six months of our first in Tynemouth.

“It is a perfect location in one of my favourite coastal towns. We have been researching and visiting towns and venues from Northumberland down to York before we found the ideal home for Grace Kelly’s.

“We are excited to bring a unique and friendly entertainment venue to Seaham, and we look forward to welcoming everybody down this weekend.”

This opening comes months after Port of Call, which formerly operated at the site, unexpectedly closed its doors.

The building was left vacant until the renovation for Grace Kelly's began.

Here are just a few pictures showing the inside of the new bar.
