Train tickets to locations across County Durham, North Yorkshire, Teesside, and Tyne and Wear for as low as £3 have gone on sale today (August 23).
Northern Rail has announced that thousands of select tickets will be available between now and November for locations up and down the region.
The rail company revealed that its tickets are now on sale, which will give people cheap fares for customers to book twelve weeks before travel.
Bishop Auckland, Darlington, Durham, Newcastle, Saltburn, Northallerton and York are just several locations where people can travel using Northern's cheap train tickets - but it's worth checking other locations and the route you're taking before booking.
Here are some of the locations where customers can travel by train for as low as £3:
- Darlington
- Durham
- Hartlepool
- Chester-Le-Street
- Eaglescliffe
- Seaham
- Bishop Auckland
- Billingham
- Stockton
- Newton Aycliffe
- Shildon
- Northallerton
- York
- Newcastle
Advance Purchase tickets offer customers up to 65 per cent off the standard fare and are available on selected routes across the Northern network.
The last time tickets were available 12 weeks ahead of travel was before the COVID-19 pandemic when strict travel restrictions came into effect.
