A well-known market group will return to North Yorkshire this Bank Holiday weekend to run a specialist artisan event that will showcase the best goods in the region and beyond.

Little Bird Made is returning to Leyburn on Saturday (August 24) for a Bank Holiday weekend extravaganza.

Little Bird Made is a well-established company who curates outdoor artisan markets throughout the North Yorkshire area.

The ethos behind Little Bird Markets is to provide visitors with a unique outdoor shopping experience where they can purchase high-quality goods all lovingly handmade by the stall holders.

According to the market group, "Buying goods online you never see the people behind the small businesses, whether that’s the bakers, crafters, photographers, designers or artists".

Little Bird markets give you the chance to meet the people who put all the effort into hand crafting the goods that you buy.

Owner of Little Bird Markets Jackie Crozier, said: “Artisan markets bring people together to share in the creative talent and hard work of those integral small businesses.

"The local community and tourists do come together to support these local events.’’

She added: ’’Each month we are always overwhelmed with the support that is shown to our artisans, and we pride ourselves on showcasing the best of the best at each event we host.’’

One of the traders who will be trading at Leyburn is Karolina Bridgen, owner of Crafts & Bubbles, who said:  ‘’We have been trading with Little Bird for just about a year now and we love it.

"The markets always have a lovely atmosphere and it’s great to chat to our new and regular customers and build relationships with other traders over time. It’s a great community to be a part of!."
