North York Moors listed in UK top 10 Bank Holiday ranking

If you’re looking for ideas of what to do this August bank holiday weekend, why not plan a fun day out or even make a long weekend of it?

There are lots of beautiful places to go, from beaches and the great outdoors to historical houses and rollercoasters, all without the hassle of long queues at the airport - but a North Yorkshire spot has also been added to the list.

PayByPhone, an app for finding the cheapest fuel, EV charging locations and parking payments, gives you its top 10 UK destinations - including the North York Moors. 

Within the list, the national park is praised for its walks, cycling routes, nature, and stunning landscapes. 

Ranking in ninth place on the list, PayByPhone says: "While the crowds head to the Lake District, check out this hidden gem instead.
