A spoof Kevin and Perry DJ act delighted attendees of a County Durham festival over the weekend.

Hardwick Live festival was joined by a pair of superstar DJs on Saturday (August 17) who pulled out a set of tunes for the crowd who were set to see headliner Snow Patrol perform that evening.

The pair were having it large on stage yelling quotes from the original sketch show including "all I wanna do is do it", encouraging the crowd to join in.

Footage captured of their set show show the packed audience joining in and singing along, hands in the air and riffing with the pair.

That same day, the line up featured a series of indie rockers with Snow Patrol and The Charlatans topping the main stage bill.

On the main stage Cortney Dixon, who hails from South Shields, got proceedings underway and  captivated the audience with songs like Stop This Party and Summer Love.

Heaven 17 delivered a set that took the audience back to the days of Top of the Pops and the 1980s with songs such as Fascist Groove Thang, Play to Win and Crushed By The Wheels of Industry.

Sophie Ellis Bextor, who appeared in a light blue dress bought at a stall on site delivered an energetic performance with songs including Spiller’s Groovejet, Modjo’s Lady, Take Me Home and Music Gets the Best of Me.

On Sunday (August 18), headliner Richard Ashcroft had the crowd singing along to his hits including Sonnet as the sun set, pulling down the curtain for the festival.
