A motorcycle rider has been left with a broken leg after being involved in a crash with a car over the weekend.
Cleveland Police have issued an appeal for dashcam footage and witnesses of a crash between a car and a motorbike on Leven Road in Norton just before 11am yesterday (August 18).
Police say the crash was between a white Hyundai i35 and a black Yamaha motorbike and left the bike rider with a broken leg.
They are still receiving treatment at hospital.
A Cleveland Police statement reads: "We’re appealing for information or doorbell/dashcam/cctv footage following a collision in Leven Road at the junction with the High Street in Norton yesterday (at 10.57am on Sunday 18th August).

"It involved a white Hyundai i35 and a black Yamaha motorbike. The 51-year-old motorbike rider sustained a broken right leg and is receiving treatment in the University Hospital of North Tees.
"Anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the collision or people who have captured footage should contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number quoting ref 159000."
