Music lovers packed into the grounds of Hardwick Hall Hotel in Sedgefield for a second day of a feast of musical treats. 

With another day of glorious weather, the lineup featured a series of indie rockers with Snow Patrol and The Charlatans topping the main stage bill.

On the main stage Cortney Dixon, who hails from South Shields, got proceedings underway and  captivated the audience with songs like Stop This Party and Summer Love. 

She was followed by Para Alta, Manchester’s Corella and Yorkshire-based outfit The Sherlocks 

Heaven 17 delivered a set tha t took the audience back to the days of Top of the Pops and the 1980s with songs such as Fascist Groove Thang, Play to Win and Crushed By The Wheels of Industry.

Sophie Ellis Bextor, who appeared in a light blue dress bought at a stall on site delivered an energetic performance with songs including Spiller’s Groovejet, Modjo’s Lady, Take Me Home and Music Gets the Best of Me.

Meanwhile Kevin and Perry performed to a capacity crowd in front of the Treehouse Arena. 

For the dance music fans, once again Hardwick Festival provided a stellar line-up of DJs across the site, including Jeremy Healy who packed out the Into the Woods stage.

Snow Patrol rounded off the evening with a set which highlighted classics along with some of their latest music. 

Hardwick Festival concludes today with Sunday headliner Richard Ashcroft, Reverend and the Makers, Blossoms, and Jamie
