Thousands of music-lovers are set to descend on the Hardwick Hall Hotel in Sedgefield as the Hardwick Festival gets underway for its 10th year. 

The sun is shining and pints will be flowing as the popular event kicks off on Friday, August 16, with big names such as Becky Hill and Snow Patrol set to grace the stage. 

Families, farmers, festival-goers and music superstars will all come together for the three-day festival, which not only features plenty of music related fun but also children’s areas in the woods, vintage fairground attractions, and plenty of locally sourced food items. 

And for the lucky campers or day-ticket holders attending the event, one of the most important things on their minds will likely be the cost of a tipple - whether it be a cocktail, pint, cider.

Latest pictures from the festival have now revealed the prices at the event, which will take place over three days this weekend. 

The cheapest draught pint (Amstel) will set you back on £6.90 - while the most expensive draught pint (Cruzcampo) will cost £7.50. 

This is significantly higher than the price of an average pint across the country, which is currently set at £4.79 as of July 2024. 

There’s also a range of skinny canned cocktails - from pina colada to passion fruit martini - which will set you back £7 or any four for £25. 

As well as a range of wine and even some iced tea, there is a long list of spirits on offer with all doubles costing £10 apart from a vodka red bull, which will cost an extra 50p. 

Those fancying a shot or two can expect to pay £5 for a jager bomb or tequila rose - or if you want a few more then it is three for £12.
