One person has been taken to hospital following a crash on a busy North Yorkshire road.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service confirmed they received a report of a crash involving three vehicles on the A19 close to Oxbank shortly after 4pm on Wednesday (August 14).
They also confirmed they deployed two ambulances to the scene, east of Northallerton.
The service added one person was taken to hospital and an ambulance remains at the scene.

A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received an emergency call at 4.08pm on Wednesday afternoon to report a collision involving three vehicles on the A19 close to Oxbank.
“Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene and one patient has been conveyed to James Cook Hospital, Middlesbrough.
“An ambulance currently remains on scene.”
