The creamy citrus treat best enjoyed on a sunny day originates from Redcar and is said to have been invented in the 1920s.

In the video, Kalani says: "This is a dessert many people in the UK haven't even heard of, but if you've had one you definitely know about it because people say this is absolutely incredible."

He added that on first glance it looks "fluorescent" before tucking in and pulling a shocked face to the camera.

Whilst trying the soft serve underneath, Kalani exclaims "Man, that's good", before giving the treat a 10/10 ranking.

He added: "For my palate, this is something I love. On a hot day this would be incredible."

This isn't the only North East venue Kalani has visited. A few days ago he travelled to burger spot 40 ounce in Newcastle as well as breakfast café Pablo Eggs Go Bao.

As for Pablo Eggs Go Bao, he said it was "incredible" and dished out another 10/10 for the small business.
