We understand that whether you have already selected a course or college, or are yet to decide on what your next step looks like, that you might be having second thoughts.

That’s why we’re here for you all summer, offering advice and guidance to help you make the right decision about what the next step in your journey looks like.

New College Durham offers a wide range of courses, suited to the needs of our wide range of students. Perhaps you want to go onto university, get real-world experience, or upskill or reskill in an area of interest. Whatever you’re looking for from college, we’re confident that we have the right course for you.

We’ve also been making considerable investment in our campus to ensure students can make use of the latest technologies, resources, and facilities to get the most out of their time at college.

We appreciate that understanding the different types of courses can be overwhelming. That’s why it’s important to speak to an expert adviser to figure out what the best option for you might be. This could be influenced by your previous qualifications, if you require additional support, and what you wish to do in the future. Whatever the case, our ASC (Advice, Support, Careers) team are dedicated to helping you understand how you can get the most out of your time at college, and help set you up for success.

Our Summer Advice Centre is open every Tuesday and Thursday between 10am and 4pm. Simply pop in to talk about your options and our friendly team of advisors and tutors will be on hand to answer any questions you might have! The Summer Advice Centre is running now until 12th September. There’s no need to prebook or call ahead – simply visit us when convenient.
