A teenage girl was taken to hospital after she was allegedly attacked by a 14-year-old girl and her mother in Darlington.
Police are appealing for information following the incident in which three girls were assaulted in the Cockerton area.
A Durham Police spokesperson said: "The incident happened sometime between 6.40pm and 7.05pm on Thursday, July 25 at the bus stop outside Cockerton Band and Musical Institute on Woodland Road.
"The girls, two aged 12 and one aged 14, are believed to have been assaulted by a 14-year-old girl and her mother.
"One of the girls sustained injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. She has since been discharged.

"Police would like to speak to any witnesses, or anyone who may have any dashcam footage of the incident."
