- Five men will appear before a judge at Teesside Crown Court this morning to be sentenced for their role in violent disorder in Hartlepool last Wednesday (July 31).
- During earlier court appearances they pleaded guilty to the following offences:
- Steven Mailen, 53, of Arch Court in Hartlepool pleaded guilty to violent disorder.
- Ryan Sheers, 28, of Powlett Road in Hartlepool pleaded guilty to violent disorder.
- Bobby Shirbon, 18, of Cornwall Street in Hartlepool pleaded guilty to violent disorder and criminal damage.
- Kieron Gatenby, 19, of Yeovil Walk in Hartlepool pleaded guilty to violent disorder.
- Carl Holliday, 30, of Tankerville Street in Hartlepool pleaded guilty to using or threatening unlawful violence.
