A popular Darlington pub that boasts three storeys and a lease until 2032 has had its price reduced by £140,000 after first hitting the market last year.
The Green Dragon on Post House Wynd has built its name as a popular choice for drinkers over the years - but the building that houses the venue is on the lookout for a new owner.
The pub, described by Savills estate agents as a "freehold public house investment", is up for sale, with offers expected "in excess of £385,000."
First appearing on estate agent site Savills, the building was marketed for £525,000 - meaning it could be a bargain for buyers.
The Green Dragon "boasts much more than a pub".
The property comprises a three-storey mid-terraced public house - with an entrance lobby and traditional bar area, a catering kitchen, living accommodation and three bedrooms, with a beer patio at the rear of the property.
The Green Dragon is located fronting Post House Wynd, a pedestrianised retail street in the town centre, and the pub is surrounded by other independent retailers.
The entire property is let to two private individuals on a 15-year lease from 31 March 2017, at a current rent of £42,000 per year.
The property is Grade II Listed and is situated within Darlington Town Centre Conservation Area.
