A dispersal order was put in place at a County Durham town last night after youths set a large bin on fire.
Several streets in Willington were covered by the order after the youths set fire to a commercial wheelie-bin and began to throw missiles at police officers attending the scene.
The dispersal order lasts 24-hours until this evening (August 5) and covers Commercial Street, from the traffic lights at Chapel Street to the Commercial pub on Bridge End.
This follows many nights of anti-social behaviour across the country in towns like Hartlepool and cities like Sunderland.
The fire service responded to the incident and the fire was controlled.
