Thousands flocked to Seaham Food Festival on Saturday and Sunday in 'delight' as the festival returned for its 2024 instalment.

The Durham County Council-run event entertained crowds with its cookery theatre, family fun, and a selection of foods from over 120 traders.

Many of the nation’s favourite chefs, including television personalities Rosemary Shrager, Phil Vickery, and festival favourite Chris Bavin, gave cooking demonstrations.

The traders offered a variety of international street foods, and sweet treats including churros and cupcakes, and Seaham’s own Mike Bartley and Great British Bake Off finalist Josh Smalley were among the cooks.
