Ferryhill Summer Gala 2024 has been praised for its 'fantastic' attendance figures by the Mayor as the Town Council thanked all those involved in the festival.
The event was celebrated by residents and visitors alike and saw a large turnout and raised money for multiple charities.
The Council offered special thanks to stall holders, along with children's entertainer Mr Windbags, face painter Dawn Belshaw, and Exotic Animal Encounters.
Ferryhill Mayor, Councillor Carole Atkinson said: "It was great to see such a fantastic turnout at this year’s Summer Gala.
"The event, which has been running for 24 years has grown in popularity, and I am over the moon to have held a stall at the event, which managed to raise £153 in aid of my chosen charities for the year, Miners United Youth Football Club and 1st Ferryhill Scouts Group."
