A man will face a trial at the start of next year after pleading not guilty to attempted murder in connection with an alleged stabbing in Northallerton.
Darren Michael Harris, 57, of Amesbury Crescent in Middlesbrough, appeared at Leeds Crown Court on Friday (August 2), charged with attempted murder.
Mr Harris pleaded not guilty to the charge against him, which is in connection to an alleged stabbing that happened on July 2 on Zetland Street, Northallerton, and was remanded in custody.

The 57-year-old is accused of stabbing a person with a needle.
During the incident, a person suffered serious injuries but responded well to treatment in hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Mr Harris will appear at Leeds Crown Court on January 20 next year for the start of a trial.
