Fifteen motorists have been named and fined in court after being caught speeding in County Durham.

The cases were heard at Peterlee Magistrates' Court during the last week.

Andrew Dalton, 34, of Greystoke Gardens, Gateshead, was caught exceeding the 50 mph speed limit on January 10 on the A690 West Rainton.

|He pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay a fine and costs of £304 and his licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

Earle Fletcher, 45 of Carroll Road, Darlington, was caught exceeding the 70 mph on January 7 on the A1(M) J59 Aycliffe to J60 Bradbury .

|He pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay a fine and costs of £260, with his licence endorsed with three penalty points. 

Sarah Blakey, 25, of Maple Park, Ushaw Moor was caught exceeding the 50 mph speed limit on January 11 167, Park Road South at on Chester le Street.

She pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay and fine and costs of £202 with her licence endorsed with four penalty points. 

Albert Errington, 67, of Avon Crescent, Houghton le Spring, was caught exceeding the 30 mph speed limit on January 10 on the B1284 Lumley New Road, Woodstone Village.

He pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay a fine and costs of £146, with his licence endorsed with three points. 

Jeremy Wakeford, 64 of Richmond Way, Darlington, was caught exceeding the 30 mph on January 13 on the A68, High Etherley.

He pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay a fine and costs of £101 and his licence was endorsed with three points. 

Nabeel Ahmed, 36, of Darras Road, Ponteland, Newcastle was caught exceeding the 70 mph motorway limit on January 6 on the  A1(M) J61 Bowburn to J60 Bradbury.

The case was found proved and he was ordered to pay and fine and costs of £398 and his licence was endorsed with three points. 

Craig Watts, 47, of Vart Road, Bishop Auckland, was caught exceeding 30 mph on January 9 on the B6282 Etherley Lane.

The case was found proved and he was ordered to pay a fine and costs of £706, with his licence endorsed by four points. 

Jade Henderson, 32, of Hawes Crescent, Crook, was caught exceeding the 30 mph speed limit on January 13 on the A68 at High Etherley.

The case was found proved. A fine and costs of £706 were imposed and licence endorsed with four points. 

Rickie Foster, 30, of Leeholme Road, Leeholme, Bishop Auckland, was caught exceeding the 30 mph speed limit on November 14 on the A689, at Frosterley.

The case was found proved and he was ordered to pay a fine and costs of £398 and had his licence endorsed with three points.

Jonathan Moore, 33 of Sunnyside Avenue, Shildon, was caught exceeding the 30 mph limit on January 15at Eldon Bank, Eldon. 

The case was found proved and he was ordered to pay and fine and costs of £706 and his licence was endorsed with six points. 

Mark Broughton, 54, Wordsworth Avenue, Wheatley Hill, was caught exceeding the 30 mph limit on January 9 on the A693 Blind Lane.

The case was found proved and he was ordered to pay a fine and costs of £398 and his driving record was endorsed with three points.

Duncan Falconer, 40, of Bowmont Chase, Dinnington, Newcastle, was caught exceeding the 70 mph motorway limit on January 13 on the A1(M) J61 Bowbum to J60 Bradbury.

He pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay a fine and costs of £603. His license was endorsed with five points. 

Claire Allinson, 39, of Delaval, Chester le Street, was caught exceeding the 30 mph limit on January 8 on the C10 Fair View, Burnhope.

She pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay a fine and costs of £476 with her licence endorsed with six points. 

Connor Livingstone, 32, of Victoria Road East, Hebburn, was caught exceeding the 30 mph limit on January 11 on the B1283 Durham Lane, Haswell Plough.

The case was found proved and he was ordered to pay a fine and costs of £706, with his licence.

James Meale, 25, of MacMillan Road, Newton Aycliffe, was caught exceeding the 40 mph speed limit on January 9 on the A167 at Ferryhill.

The case was found proved and he was ordered to pay a fine and costs of £398, with three points on his record.
