A 'spine-chilling' adaptation of Frankenstein is set to be performed at Newcastle Castle Keep in November.

Set within the castle's ancient walls, the audience will be transported back to the 19th century amidst the gothic atmosphere of Mary Shelley's novel.

This fresh rendition is under the skilled direction of Jake Murray, celebrated for his work on 'A Christmas Carol' and 'Othello'.

Mr Murray said: "This production is designed to stir the imagination and evoke the spirit of the original text, offering audiences an intimate and atmospheric experience."
