Global beauty chain Sephora is set to open two North East stores simultaneously in September.
The stores, based in Eldon Square, Newcastle, and Metrocentre, Gateshead, will open on the same day in a highly anticipated move by the cosmetics company.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Sephora announced: "We're on a (sausage) roll... Two North East stores? Whey aye! Eldon Square and Metrocentre, see you on the 13th September."
The post features a lipstick-stained sausage roll being munched away revealing the date of the grand opening of the North East stores as a collective of lip stains emerge around the text.

Managing Director of Sephora UK, Sarah Boyd, said: "Continuing our trend of listening to our customers and where they want to see us open, we heard the beauty community of the North East loud and clear."
She acknowledged the bold step of opening two stores at once, but voiced the company's confidence in this venture.
Boyd added: "We are beyond excited to welcome all the passionate beauty lovers of the region to our stores."
These additions join Sephora's existing portfolio of over 2,500 stores worldwide.
