A retail centre in County Durham remains on the market for £2,450,000, over a year after being put up for sale.
The Derwent Centre, located on Middle Street, Consett, has been listed by Parker Barras for over 12 months.
The property, constructed in 1980 and refurbished in 1999, comprises of 19 retail units and generates a total rent of over £230k annually.
A number of national occupiers such as Greggs, Superdrug, and various local operators share the street outside the retail centre.

Common areas are used by stall operators while some units are rented by national companies.
The majority of units are ground-floor level; however, three units are equipped with additional storage on the first floor.
In its listing, Parker Barras said the centre's main entrance is accessed from Middle Street, with an additional entrance at the rear, facing the town's bus station.
The brick-built property features a glazed roof over the internal mall area and retail glazed frontages throughout.
In July 2023 Durham County Council began additional phases of a transformation plan for Consett's town centre, which promised to deliver improvements to paving as well as improvements to amenities on Middle Street.
