Baydale Beck Inn, in Darlington, has been shortlisted in the top ten of The Northern Echo’s best pub 2024 competition after being nominated by customers.
The heart-warming and friendly pub in Low Coniscliffe has a very simple ethos to create a warm, welcoming village inn whilst serving great quality food and drinks to all its loyal customers.
The popular pub offers traditional hand pulled beers, fine wines, and boasts a gin shelf of 20 different gins from around the world. You definitely won’t be short of choice when visiting.
Traditional home cooked and very high-quality food is very important to them at the Baydale Beck Inn, with all the food being cooked fresh.
This is to create a great family friendly atmosphere where everyone can enjoy, including the family dog as they are a dog friendly establishment.
Joanne, the popular landlady, aims to please the entire family as the premises also boasts a children’s outside playground so everyone can be happy whilst enjoying the sun, or rain.
Baydale Beck Inn, hosts a quiz night every Thursday at 8pm with a £1 entry fee and £20 prize, which pulls in all the regulars creating a lovely, welcome atmosphere amongst friends.
It also hosts across the year themed nights from Caribbean night to Spanish night and other some events such as Morris Dancing all to bring in different customers.
Baydale Beck Inn wanted to express how over the moon they are to be nominated and thanked all of their loyal customers.
