A celebration of summer fun and good music is back at a County Durham country hall this weekend, bringing with it hundreds of bands and family fun.
The Scoop Festival has returned to the historic Grade II-listed Burnhopeside Hall, near Lanchester, with sounds from three stages in a relaxed atmosphere.
Visitors can kick back with a chair or blanket, enjoy delicious offerings from world street food vendors, and sip on drinks from a range of bars.
Children and dogs are welcome on site, off Durham Road, near Malton Picnic Area.
Festival organiser Tris Raine said: “Scoop is all about inclusivity and creating a welcoming space for everyone.
“It’s not just about the music, though our line-up is phenomenal.
“It’s about families coming together, enjoying great food, and creating lasting memories.
“We’ve got entertainment for the kids, so parents can relax and soak in the good vibes.”
She said the festival has something for all music lovers with a mix of artists and bands guaranteed to keep audiences entertained through the day and into the evening.
Revered touring bands and some of the very best tribute acts will be taking to the stage across the weekend, including the likes of The Liam Gallagher Experience, The Skapones, Driven Serious, Odin’s Revenge, Twister, The Buskers and The National Anthems.
Meanwhile, a string of up-and-coming acts tipped for big things are also set to perform, including Bear Park, Jam Tub, Rigid Digits and Fire Lady Luck, cementing Scoop’s reputation of nurturing some of the best talent from the region and beyond.
The festival will also be staging a Secret Forest Dance Tent.
Festival-goers can look forward to Sista Paula’s return to the decks, along with the dynamic Emma Vibes.
Together, they promise to deliver an unforgettable set filled with all the best disco classics.
Their performance is promised to take the audience back to the golden era of disco, with infectious grooves, iconic hits, and their famous high-energy atmosphere.
In addition to the disco magic, the festival line-up features a stellar selection of DJs known for their mastery of Ibiza anthems.
These include Ben Douthwaite, Neil Foreel, Neil Hargreeves, Simon Gibbo, Lee Roberts, and Andy Griffiths, among others.
