Teesside Park is set to be transformed into a fantasy world as Alice and Friends take over the popular retail park.
Shoppers will have the chance to snap a selfie with a string of characters from Alice in Wonderland and enjoy a range of free activities inspired by the children's classic this weekend.
Meet and greets will take place with Alice and the White Rabbit at the centre this Saturday (July, 27) between 12pm and 4pm and Alice and the Mad Hatter on Saturday, August 31.
Families can also enjoy a free flamingo-themed croquet outside Costa between 11am and 3pm every day during the holidays, and 'step through the looking glass' with a Wonderland trail across the centre.
A trail map can be downloaded from Teesside Park’s website – and with eight clues to find there’s plenty to keep children busy for a little while.
Shoppers may also spot that West Way, between Greggs and Market Cross Jewellers, has been transformed into 'Wonderland Way' by schoolchildren across Teesside.
Kids from Whinney Banks, Mill Lane, and Newport primary schools helped to create themed decorations for the trees which line the road while they were at the centre for a Young Readers Programme event recently.

The Young Readers Programme is an award-winning initiative between Teesside Park’s owner British Land and the National Literacy Trust that aims to encourage children to read for enjoyment outside of the classroom.
Catherine Furlong, centre director at Teesside Park, said: “It’s fantastic to see the centre transform into its own Wonderland for the summer.
“We know it can be difficult to keep children entertained over the holidays, so we wanted to make sure we had a range of fun, free activities for the whole family to enjoy – and I’m sure it will be very exciting for our little visitors to meet the characters themselves too!”
