The most expensive streets in Bishop Auckland have been revealed following research by a sales company.

Property Solvers used five years of sold house price data from HM Land Registry, tracking the average sold price data since 2019.

It was found that Saxon Court, Durham Road, and The Dell host some of Bishop Auckland's highest-valued properties.

On Saxon Court, three properties fetched an average of £474,833.

On Durham Road, houses averaged £443,333 a piece.

The Dell witnessed seven properties selling for an average of £386,357 each.

Ruban Selvanayagam, co-founder of Property Solvers commented on the methodology used, saying: "to keep the data less skewed, we only ranked the streets that had over three sales.

Etherley Lane and Dene Hall Drive were among those commanding high prices in Bishop Auckland, with properties selling for averages of £359,666 and £270,688 respectively.
