The Red Arrows wowed crowds on Thursday (July 25) after flying over the North East and North Yorkshire during a flight display. 

The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team flew over large parts of North Yorkshire, and Darlington, with people even spotting them in West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire, as they made their way to and from the display.

This sighting of the impressive flight team was part of a show at RAF Leeming - which saw a performance from the Red Arrows take place from 2.55pm-3.30pm.

As crowds built at RAF Leeming, the display began, with people in Northallerton catching a great glimpse of the display and the fly-past.

The Red Arrows flew over the east of Northallerton as they left RAF Leeming to make their way back to their base at RAF Waddington, in Lincolnshire.

In images captured by both RAF Leeming and The Northern Echo Camera Club, and shared to social media, the impressive flypast saw the iconic red, white and blue stream of the Red Arrows over the skies, while the red planes could be seen darting towards Northallerton.
