A North East pub is to reopen after a refurbishment following an investment boost.
The Havelock Arms in the village of Washington will welcome locals back on July 31 after a £180k refresh, funded by Punch Pubs & Co.
The revamped pub promises a modern, contemporary feel.
Management Partners, Olly Thomason and Louise White are behind the relaunch.
Mr Thomason said: "The pub is looking fantastic, and the transformation is incredible.
"Louise and I are eager to see our guests’ reactions and we can hear the excitement brewing already."

Both partners hail from the hospitality industry and aim to bring a familial, dog-friendly vibe to the Havelock Arms.
Mr Thomason continued: "Louise and I want to provide an extra level of hospitality, putting our own spin on the pub.
"We want to emphasise that the Havelock Arms is an inclusive, safe spot for the whole community to enjoy."
The refurbishment includes new signage, refreshed interior, redesigned back bar fittings, outdoor planters, and a beer garden.
Ms White added: "We’re a friendly couple and we believe that great customer service drives great sales.
"We’re looking forward to entertaining the community with live music nights, fun quizzes and events for the whole family to enjoy."
