The most expensive streets in Stanley have been revealed following research by a sales company.

Property Solvers used five years of sold house price data from HM Land Registry, tracking the average sold price data since 2019.

It found that Badgers Wood, The Barns and Kershope Walk host some of Stanley's highest-valued properties.

On Badgers Wood, six properties fetched an average of £266,250.

On The Barns, houses averaged £224,863 a piece.

Kershope Walk witnessed six properties selling for an average of £204,965 each.

Ruban Selvanayagam, co-founder of Property Solvers commented on the methodology used, saying: "to keep the data less skewed, we only ranked the streets that had over three sales."

Orchard Grove and Derwent Rise were also among those commanding high prices in Stanley, with properties selling for averages of £186,312 and £191,990 respectively.
