A road in Darlington is set to be closed next week until mid August, to allow for resurfacing work, the council has announced.
Salters Lane North, between North Road and Thompson Street East, will be closed from Monday, July 29 for two weeks.
This is so phased resurfacing work can be completed by Darlington Borough Council.
Works will be carried out in two phases. The stretch of Salters Lane from North Road to Oakwood Drive will be resurfaced between Monday, July 29, to Sunday, August 4.

The second phase of roadworks, from Oakwood Drive to Thompson Street East, will be completed between Monday, August 5, until Friday, August 9.
Motorists have been warned to avoid the area, as access will be restricted to residents only during work hours.
A spokesperson for Darlington Borough Council added that "vehicle access will only be allowed if site operations allow".
