Three men, including a man from Darlington, have been arrested after an investigation into a stolen quad bike in Richmondshire.
North Yorkshire Police officers launched a search after a red Honda TRX420 quad bike was stolen between 9pm on Sunday (July 21) and 9am on Monday (July 22).
After starting an investigation into the theft, police noticed an out-of-date tracker had been reactivated, which was then tracked to a car park in Darlington.
Officers attended the area where they found a Ford Transit linked to the burglary and arrested a 22-year-old Darlington man on suspicion of burglary.
Officers then traced another Ford Transit van, believed to have picked up the quadbike from Darlington, travelling south on the A1.

Working alongside Durham Police, who joined the pursuit, the van was intercepted on the A1 near Dishforth and the stolen quad bike was found inside along with a motorbike.
Two men inside the vehicle, aged 49 and 21, from Bradford, were arrested on suspicion of theft.
All three have been released on conditional police bail to allow for further inquiries to be carried out.
