County Durham primary school pupils have crafted a banner to encourage road safety among motorists.
The pupils from Timothy Hackworth Primary School's road safety squad, along with their teachers and Durham County Council staff, produced the colourful alert message.
The banner features a representation of their school, including its head and deputy head-teachers, and the school crossing patrol.
Echoing Shildon's tradition, several trains are also included in the artwork, underscoring the need for drivers to slow down and preserve lives.

The initiative aims to heighten road safety and active travel awareness in the school community.
Cllr Elizabeth Scott, Durham County Council's Cabinet member for economy and partnerships said: "We are really pleased to have been able to engage with some of the younger members of our community on road safety.
"They should be very proud of the finished product and all their hard work."
"Not only have they created a fantastic piece of artwork which encourages drivers to slow down and look out for people crossing the road, they have also learned more about road safety themselves in a fun and engaging way."
