Thirsk Yarnbombers have wowed residents and visitors of the town after unveiling its most recent display featuring children's TV and film characters.
On Sunday (July 21), the sun was shining as the group unveiled its latest creations in the Market Place - which captured the attention and imagination of passers-by.
While creating previous creative, colourful and imaginative designs, it was decided that this display would be inspired by children's entertainment - which saw designs from superheroes, Disney, Dennis the Menace, and SpongeBob.
This main display was joined by a separate display from the Yarnbombers, which was in support of Thirsk Rugby Club, who are preparing for what will be their 30th season.
The rugby club display featured designs adorning the colours of the club; yellow, green and black, and also featured rugby ball keyrings that will be sold off to raise funds for the club.
Rugby club chairman Geoff Iles said "I was delighted that the Yarnbombers agreed to our request to make the display.
"I think their work really brightens up the town and is always a talking point for locals and visitors alike."
