Just over a year after petrol prices in the UK soared to £2 a litre, prices are now set to drop across the country.

Drivers are getting a better deal when they fill up their cars as prices are set to drop just in time for the summer holidays, according to the RAC.

On average, you can get a litre of diesel for 145.69p and a litre of unleaded for 150.93p.

Here is a list of the cheapest fuel prices in County Durham, Darlington, and Teesside according to Petrol Prices as of July 24, so you can get the best deal when you fill up your car.

Durham
