Police are appealing for information after a woman was left with serious facial injuries after an assault in Darlington last week.
Officers from Durham Police are investigating the incident, which happened between noon and 2pm last Monday (July 15) in the Branksome Terrace area of the town, near Tiffany School of Dance.
The woman is believed to have been assaulted by another woman, which left her with serious facial injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police have now appealed for information about the assault, and have urged witnesses who have an account of the incident, or CCTV from the area to contact PC Fleming via email at David.fleming@durham.police.uk, quoting crime reference number CRI00558027.
